Annie - A 1977 11ft Millard York @my_tiny_caravan
With time running out at work before our "busy period" commenced I wanted to get one more trip away. While I was at Hawks Nest I took a drive down to Jimmys and Claire and I had ourselves a walk through the van park.
It was pretty congested at the front end of the park close to the play areas and amenities block but at the rear of the park near the beach access walkway were a couple of great sites overlooking the bush and one in particular had a 180° uninterrupted view with no neighbours. Now that's my kinda campsite.
I enquired at the office as to when there was a vacancy. The site was heavily booked with only 3 days available before the site was to be shut down mid October. I snapped up the 3 days and Claire and I once again headed off together for some well earned R & R.
She had a great time. I have never seen so many doggos in the one park at the same time. All well behaved with responsible owners who kept them tied up within the confines of their campsite. The dog friendly beach was about a 5 minute walk from the park.
I've been looking forward to catching up with a fellow vintage van lover in the coming months and wanted to get something special for her van. She loves pink flamingoes. Reggie the blue flamingo had a great time hanging out amongst the flowers on the drawbar with his new friend.
It's been 18 months since Annie's interior was last pink. To celebrate the arrival of my fluffy pink friend I redecorated with all things pastel and candy.
We had so many visitors stopping by for a look and commenting on her colours.
I love the pink for special occasions but my favourite decor is still the aqua and blue. 💙💚

Where did you get your lovely fabric for the annex? Did you make these yourself?

What a wonderful story and pictures to wake up to. The camper is wonderful and the park is perfect! Love the spoiled little doggy too. Keep making memories!
