Annie - A 1977 11ft Millard York @my_tiny_caravan and @eugenie_the_royal
This was my 3rd solo trip away and I'm really getting the hang of it. With my trusty sidekick beside me we make great camping buddies.
I wanted to go somewhere different this trip preferably beside the beach. I Google Earthed a number of campgrounds and caravan parks on the mid north coast to find Hawks Nest Beach. The images looked OK but were at least 10 years old. A 1 hr 45 minute drive from home. Perfect. Site Booked.
Unfortunately on arrival, my tree lined beach side campsite looked more like a moonscape surrounded by a prison like wire mesh and barbed wire fence. It appears that the trees along the shore line have been battered by some severe storms since the Google Earth photos were taken. The beach itself was beautiful but it was quite a walk to actually access it and a fair distance was along the 4wd sandy track. Not good for my rickety arthritic knees 🙄😕
So nothing to look at on this trip. I would have to drive elsewhere to appreciate the surrounds of Hawks Nest Beach.
Claire and I took a drive to Winda Woppa. What a great name ! The mangroves were at low tide but that didn't stop Claire. We had a great morning.

Hi there
Where did you get your lovely fabric for the annex? Did you make these yourself?
