Annie - A 1977 11ft Millard York @my_tiny_caravan
This was our first "Bush Camping" experience booked through Youcamp a company that enables private land owners to rent out their properties for a small fee.
We chose Bunyips as it was only a short drive from home but really we could have been anywhere in Australia.
They had a number of sites available. We chose "Tuckers Retreat" nestled inbetween the dam and the creek under the tall timbers.
The owners had 2 dogs who made Claire very welcome and kept her exercised and happy over the 3 days.
For us, it was perfect R & R.
Keeping Claire in the water has never been a problem and this was no different. NSW has had a very dry Summer so the dam was quite low and the creek had only just started running again after the recent rain. As always Claire enjoyed herself immensely
Annie is still in dress rehearsal mode, so this weekend was about all things girlie. We left her blue awning and matching bunting at home and dug out all the pink we could find.
I'm not a big fan of horses having been bitten by an especially stubborn one on a horseriding trek as a teenager. This is as close as I have gotten to a horse in a loooooong time.
I thought they looked quite peaceful grazing around our campsite so I began taking a few photos.
They came a little closer and that was OK too until one in particular spotted a vase of flowers on the picnic table and the photos tell the rest of the story.
We had a lovely break at Bunyips Camp and we'll definitely return, maybe in the winter when we can have a fire. One thing they are not short of here is firewood.

Hi there
Where did you get your lovely fabric for the annex? Did you make these yourself?
